24 random discs are placed first. Then Player 1 places both collectors. Player 2 picks which colour to play.
An Export opening CSV with both collectors loads as a preset: discs and collectors fixed β no live placement, Player 2 still picks the colour.
Editor β Custom MAKA LAINA Position
Pick a brush, then click cells on the 12Γ12 board to paint the disc layout. Collectors are optional: place both (Black = Player 1, White = Player 2) to make a preset opening β no live placement, Player 2 still picks the colour. Leave them out for a disc-only layout where Player 1 places them live.

CSV β Custom Position

MAKA LAINA Rules
Goal
Collect discs on a 12x12 grid to score the most points. The game continues until all discs are collected or both players cannot move.
Shifting & Collection
Select a disc that is not in your Line of Sight (LOS).
Shift it 1 square so it enters your LOS.
Your collector moves to that square and collects the disc.
LOS extends in 8 directions, blocked by other discs or collectors.
Draft System
After each collection, 1 new disc is drawn from the bag.
You must place it in your line of sight.
The disc cannot be collected immediately (it's in your LOS).
54 discs total: 24 start on the board, 24 are drafted in, 6 stay hidden.
Special Mechanics
Number 1: Immediate extra turn.
Number 6: Future discs of that color are worthless for you.
Stuck? Your opponent chooses which of your collected primary discs to sacrifice: your score for that color decreases, but your collector can move up to that many squares freely. Nothing to sacrifice? You still get a free escape move of up to 2 squares β so being trapped early is never an instant loss.
